Update: Messaging (Ticketing)

    I like the new Ticket System, but it have a bigger potential for more functions. At the moment I will not use the Ticket System, because I’m still missing a few key features, like the ability for a custom outgoing mail.What I don’t like is the Ticket creation from a chat, because the created Ticket has NO reference to the Chat. I will wait for more features. But you are on a good way for a free software. 🙂

      FYI, you can create a ticket from a chat already. When you are in a chat click “Options” then “Create Ticket”.

        Yeah, I saw that already. But as I said before, the reference to the Chat is missing. So for Example, I write with an customer about a problem on our webpage and this text is 25 lines long. I don´t want to copy the full text into the ticket description. I would appreciate a direct copy from the chat where I created the Ticket. It is simpler for the agent and faster to answer.

      I would also like canned responses, links to the chats or reference #’s for the tickets, and a FAQ features. Since many users ask similar questions the questions could poll answers already available in the FAQ (this is similar to the software https://www.alwaysupport.com/ please look there for more clarification on what I am suggesting please). This would help immensely and help reduce the amount of the same questions being asked. Otherwise I feel that these new features you have begun are an excellent start – especially since you offer these for free. Thanks for all of your hard work.

    canned responses for me is a deal breaker, as my clients always ask the same questions!!

    also, a form widget to use with forwarded emails on websites would help

    Really useful! I’d love to use tawk.to as a ticket system also!

    But I’ll have to wait for mail, and reply customization, you know, for logos and language essentialy.

  7. This is huge as I’ve been wanting to implement a ticket support system for people who may have trouble navigating the IDX home search system on my website. So now we can have both live chat options as well as support tickets? Or is it one or the other? Thanks!

    Got this recently for my website http://host2.co.uk as an alternative to Zopim. Its even better than my old one and its free!
