We’re excited to announce a new email update at tawk.to. Emails from your ticketing desk are now customized for your chat property.
The Ticket Forwarding Email is used to send help emails to the messaging and ticketing center inside the tawk.to Dashboard, so you can handle and track all your requests in one place. It also appears as the return email for every ticketing and support email that goes out from your account.
While we offer robust ticketing features with unlimited agents and messaging, our return email addresses for ticketing emails were honestly not the prettiest. In fact, each included a long string of 32 alphanumeric characters.
We are always learning and looking for additional ways to improve tawk.to for you, our customers.
Now, after working quietly “under the hood,” our dedicated team of developers has released a new feature: a default support email address customized just for you.
A new look for your support email address
That long string of characters in the old default email is now gone. In its place, you will notice a new email address based on the name of your property.
If you already have one or more properties, this will happen automatically for every property name that can be converted into a slug.

From now on, for every property you create, both you and your customers will enjoy the clean look this new format brings to the inbox.
What’s more, every website visitor opening your email will see a return address with a name they recognize — one that reminds them of you!
