All parties involved are responsible for managing the performance of the Virtual Assistant: the HR team, the client, and the VA.
The HR team will measure the performance of the VA and provide additional training as needed. They will also have the critical conversations with the VA if required to get the VA back on track.
If you have your own performance management tools and would like to include the VA in their use, you’re more than welcome to discuss this with your VA or to reach out to the HR team to assist with implementation.
Can I use my own performance management tools?
Please include any tools you will use to measure the work performance of your VA in your initial VA request.
In this form, you will identify the type of tools you want the VA to be familiar with and the type of tools you may expect them to use, including performance tools.
Performance management tools may be added after the initial VA request. However, please be advised that some VAs may be unwilling to work with time-tracking software.
