Frequent lateness or absences from a VA can hinder work progress and project completion. While unexpected situations happen, having a dependable VA who communicates well and is punctual is crucial.
If a VA consistently struggles with timeliness or attendance, our HR team will intervene to improve their performance. If you have any ongoing concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to your HR manager for assistance.
What happens if a VA is frequently late for work?
If a Virtual Assistant frequently comes in late or leaves early, our HR team will work with them to fix the issue and meet expectations.
If the problem keeps happening, we’ll help find a new VA. Our recruiting team will make this a priority.
The VA will get official notices about the intent to end their contract because of the problem. The client won’t need to wait for the usual seven days to stop working with the VA.
What happens if a VA is frequently absent from work?
If a Virtual Assistant (VA) is consistently absent, we will let them know they haven’t met performance expectations and have breached their contract.
We’ll then work closely with the VA to help them improve. But if, despite our efforts with HR, they keep being absent, we might start the termination process.
If we unfortunately have to let the VA go, we’ll officially terminate their contract, mentioning the breach. They’ll also be blacklisted, meaning they can’t work with tawk.to again. At the same time, we’ll start looking for a new VA.
While we find a new VA, your subscription will be paused. Normally, we’d give a seven-day notice for contract termination, but not if the VA broke the contract.
If you want to know more about the tawk.to Virtual Assistant program, feel free to schedule a call. We’ll explain everything in detail during the call.
