Virtual Assistant FAQs

How do holidays work?

From time to time, the Virtual Assistants will want to take time off on days that are important to them. They may request days off for special holidays, such as Christmas or Easter, or other special events in their lives.

Many of our clients choose to give their VAs this time off when it is requested.

We are flexible and recommend that you view each VA as you would a staff member that may be working for you in-house.

We advise the VAs that they must provide you with a two-week notice period for any time off that they wish to take. You are welcome to approve or disapprove their request for time off. The VAs are also required to submit any requests for time off to tawk.to via a form so we are aware of the request and can assist with the coordination process.

Any time off taken can either be treated as paid time off or unpaid time off.

If the VA’s time off is unpaid, we will calculate the amount of time off that they take. Then, we will either allocate it to your account as credit or ask the VA to make up these hours when convenient for you.

If missed hours are made up, we will work with you and the VA to coordinate the most appropriate time, day, and week for that to happen.
