How you communicate with your VA is up to you. There are multiple options available. Which works best for your business?
During onboarding, every VA receives a tawk.to email address. In addition to this email address, we encourage you to assign the VA an email associated with your business.
The tawk.to dashboard
The HR team can set up a group chat on the tawk.to dashboard for you and your VA. One or more members of the HR team are typically included in the chat along with the VA. However, if you prefer to limit the group to include only the VA and your team members (for greater privacy, for example), that’s perfectly fine as well.
Other communication channels
You are free to choose other methods of communication. These should be discussed and agreed upon with your VA. Options may include a messaging platform such as Slack, Skype, Discord, Zoom, or WhatsApp. The decision is entirely yours.
Frequency of communication
At the end of the day, how you communicate and how often you communicate is up to you. Your VA is dedicated to your business for the hours you’ve selected. They may choose to report daily. They may choose to check in with you every second day. Or you may agree to meet for a weekly catchup.
Ultimately, the key to a successful relationship with your VA is having them feel like they’re part of the team and keeping the lines of communication open.
