How the Live Agent Service works, step-by-step:

  1. We create a group chat in the dashboard, so you can respond to our queries, educate our team and give us feedback.

     

  2. We select a group of agents to study your site and get to know your business. Our aim is to respond to chats in the same way you respond to chats.

     

  3. You control when agents are available to respond to chats using the agent You control when agents are available to respond to chats using the agent scheduler. When a chat comes in, the agent will be able to search all resources available to them, including previous chat history, for the right information.

     

  4. Your agents will ask customers in the chat for their contact details. If they cannot find the right answer, they will submit a ticket and send it to the relevant person.

     

  5. When the ticket has been responded to, we will update the FAQs in your Knowledge Base.The next time we receive that question we can respond immediately with the answer.

Here’s how the Live Agent service works:

STEP 1

We’ll create a group chat in your dashboard and select a group of agents to get to know your business and respond to chats the way you respond to chats

STEP 2

Use the Agent Scheduler to set times for answering the chat. Agents can search all resources available to them, including past chats, to answer new queries.

STEP 3

Your agents collect contact details and answer the chat. If an Agent cannot find the answer, they will assign a ticket to the team member who can.

STEP 4

After a ticket has received a response, we update your Knowledge Base. The next time we receive that question, we can respond immediately with the answer.
