API Integrations Developer (Remote Role – Full Time)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
tawk.to, the world\u2019s #1 business messaging application is expanding its engineering team and is seeking an experienced API Integrations Developer, with research and data analysis skills, to help shape the future of business communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every day we get to build an array of awesome systems at scale, including search, concurrency, content organization, real-time metrics, deployment, and event-driven, low-latency, concurrent apps. Our current systems are mostly built on Node.js.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We focus on fast, iterative development (over 200+ deployments just last month), and collaborative, interactive programming. Developers work within small cross-functional teams of 3-6 crew that rely on one another to champion their project goals and in setting their own priorities are expected to build and deploy applications quickly and iteratively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking for an API integrations developer who can use different languages to develop, improve and maintain integrations that connect with our software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tasks will include:
-building out new integrations
-updating and maintaining active integrations
-expanding functionality on some of the platforms that allow for deeper integrations eg. Shopify, Woocommerce
-providing support to our users\/communicating how to implement integrations<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Skills:
The successful applicant will have solid core programming skills. Be competent with Javascript\/PHP and show a willingness to learn whatever language the platform is built with. They should be able to work with existing APIs and be able to read\/ learn platform integration documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Past experience with integrating CMS (plugins like WordPress, Joomla etc) and building API\u2019s is most helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
