Every day we get to build an array of awesome systems at scale, including search, concurrency, content organization, real-time metrics, deployment, and event-driven, low-latency, concurrent apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We focus on fast, iterative development (over 200+ deployments just last month), and collaborative, interactive programming. Developers work within small cross-functional teams of 3-6 crew that rely on one another to champion their project goals and in setting their own priorities are expected to build and deploy applications quickly and iteratively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day-to-day responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Plan and build product features on the iOS platform<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Work with the product manager and designer to achieve UI\/UX inline with iOS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Fix bugs and performance issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Communicate with internal APIs and external APIs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Help customers with issues they are having to ensure they have the best experience possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Write documentation for implementation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Communicate the status of test development to the appropriate channels<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualified candidates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Proficiency with Swift, Objective-C<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation and APIs like Foundation, UIKit, and CocoaTouch<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Knowledge of other web technologies and UI\/UX standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Understanding of Apple\u2019s design principles and Apple Human Interface Guidelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Understanding of MVC and MVVM, preferable knowledge of Coordinator pattern<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to craft UI in code and with Interface builder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience with performance and memory tuning with Instruments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Familiarity with push notification APIs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience writing instrumental and unit tests<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Proficient understanding of code versioning with Git<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Understanding of app distribution process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience in developing and supporting rapid iterations of software in an Agile context<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Overall knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Preferably having published one or more iOS app(s) in the Apple App Store<\/p>\n\n\n\n
